The Hearth’s Young Professionals Programme is a two-year full-time contract-based engagement that gives young professionals an immersive and enriching experience working in the social infrastructure sector. The Hearth Advisors’ core team will train successful candidates to understand education and other social sectors better. The programme requires successful candidates to spend up to 18 months at one or more field-based projects, as immersive experiences and making significant contributions directly with our clients.

 

The role would require you to work alongside experienced colleagues and other consultants, whether within the organisation or for a client project. As part of the Young Professionals Programme, you will be required to:

  • Plan, oversee and lead on-field projects and assignments.
  • Apply research-based evidence and methodology to meet project-specific requirements to provide quality solutions to clients.
  • Manage project progress and adapt to work as required. Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Coordinate internal resources and managing relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Optimise and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary.
  • Document and report on the work done at project-based assignments.
  • Particularly during the training phase, understand applied education and academic research, write proposals and reports.

 

The essential qualifications we look for are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a leading institution
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Candidates should be willing to relocate to field-based project assignments
  • Well-developed core consulting skills of research, analysis, presentation, and attention to detail
  • Exceptional ability to work in teams and diverse groups of people
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with an analytical, innovative, and creative mindset
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to be self-directed and be an independent contributor to the team
  • Knowledge of key sectoral trends in the core work areas of the organisation
  • Authorisation to work in India
