Duration: Full time, 4-6 weeks in the summer of 2021. A stipend will be paid.

Location: Delhi NCR, India (Our teams globally are working from home, and this remote work arrangement will continue until the COVID-19 pandemic is controlled)

We are looking for dynamic, energetic interns eager to learn about the social infrastructure sector, particularly education. You will be work closely with our team to understand applied research, strategic consulting, and delivering operational benefits to projects and clients. You will have the opportunity to learn and refine skills in a supportive, flexible environment.

 

To be successful as an intern, you should be willing to help with any reasonable task assigned to you. You will be involved in discussing upcoming projects as well as assisting with ongoing work.

 

You will be required to work towards a formal research paper at the end of your internship. This paper’s theme will be agreed with you and your team supervisor in the first week of the internship.

 

As part of the Undergraduate Internship Programme, you will be required to:

  • Gain industry exposure and familiarise yourself with sector-specific work.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and write reports and presentations.
  • Create informative and well-researched content for the Hearth website, social media platforms, newsletters, etc.
  • Update and post supervised social media and website content; respond to web correspondence, social media posts, and emails, wherever necessary.
  • Conduct backend research to support team members in respective client projects.
  • Shadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasks.
  • Submit an end of engagement Research Project.

 

The essential qualifications we look for are:

  • Students with an excellent academic record, pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university
  • Ability to conduct primary and secondary research in addition to analysis of collected data (either qualitative or quantitative, or both)
  • Aptitude to grasp new concepts and effectively produce results
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with an analytical, innovative, and creative mindset
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Curiosity for knowledge, eagerness to learn, and integrity
  • Authorisation to work in India
