The Hearth’s Senior Professionals Programme is a two-year full-time contract-based engagement that allows experienced professionals to make a deep and immersive contribution to the social infrastructure sector. Successful candidates will undergo orientation and training by the Hearth Advisors’ core team to better understand education and other social sectors. The programme requires successful candidates to spend up to 18 months at one or more field-based projects, as immersive experiences and making significant contributions directly with our clients.

 

The role would require you to work alongside experienced colleagues and other consultants, whether within the organisation or for a client project. As part of the Senior Professionals Programme, you will be required to:

  • Lead and contribute to project planning sessions.
  • Plan, oversee and lead on-field projects and assignments.
  • Apply research-based evidence and methodology to meet project-specific requirements to provide quality solutions to clients.
  • Manage project progress and ensure the overall programme aligns with and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate internal resources and managing relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Optimise and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary.
  • Demonstrate functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices.
  • Document and report on the work done at project-based assignments.
  • Particularly during the training phase, understand applied education and academic research, write proposals and reports.

 

The essential qualifications we look for are:

  • Master’s degree in any discipline from a leading institution
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a role that required research, writing proposals and reports, or educational leadership.
  • Candidates should be willing to relocate to field-based project assignments
  • Well-developed core consulting skills of research, analysis, presentation, and attention to detail
  • Exceptional ability to work in teams and diverse groups of people
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with an analytical, innovative, and creative mindset
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to be self-directed and be an independent contributor to the team
  • Background and experience of education and the broader social infrastructure sector
  • Authorisation to work in India
